Six little paintings. A whole lot of mixed feelings.
Originally painted as one continuous abstract artwork, Mixed Feelings is a collection of six original paintings on wooden boards. Each 12 × 12 x 1 cm cm piece is a little artwork in its own right, but put them together and they reconnect to form the original composition.
Bold brushstrokes, layers of acrylic paint, ink and markers, and a colour palette of hot pink, deep green and soft blue. Look closely and you'll discover a handwritten sentence hidden in each painting, along with tiny smileys, hearts, palm trees and other little surprises.
The six originals:
It Is What It Is
That's Unfortunate
Could Be Worse
Feeling Things. Unfortunately.
Mildly Hopeful
I Have Questions.
