Drift & Spark is a set of four 20 x 20 cm original abstract paintings created with acrylic paint, acrylic ink, oil pastels & spray paint.
This series marks my first time painting on wood panels — allowing the natural wood grain to shine through in places and adding depth to the layered brushstrokes and marks.
Each piece features bold, flowing shapes in deep petrol blue/green, light blue, blush pink and white, accented by energetic pops of bright orange. The 2 cm deep edges are each painted in a different colour, adding an unexpected detail to the presentation.
Hang them together for a striking statement wall, or let each one live in its own space — they are equally strong as individual works.
