This special edition is not a classic pair of socks —
each pack contains three individual socks, designed to be mixed, matched and worn in multiple combinations.
Three socks, three designs, one shared visual language.

The patterns are created in Thomas Jakobson’s studio in Bern, inspired by the abstract shapes and colour worlds of artist Tania Bisaz. Each design is developed with care, tested through several prototype rounds, and then produced in a small sock factory in eastern Germany.

Made from certified organic cotton and crafted under fair conditions, these socks stand for high-quality materials, minimalist style and a thoughtful approach to colour and form.

The knit patterns and designs are created in Thomas Jakobson’s studio in Bern (Switzerland).
All motifs are designed by Swiss artist Tania Bisaz.

The socks are manufactured, assembled and labelled in a small family-run sock factory in eastern Germany — with fair working conditions, careful craftsmanship and long-standing expertise.

The Story Behind the Socks

This sock edition began with a simple idea: art doesn’t have to stay on the wall.

It can move with you, live with you, and become part of everyday life.

The designs started as abstract shapes and colour studies in Tania’s sketchbooks.

In Thomas’s studio in Bern, these ideas were translated into knit patterns and prototypes — step by step, until the artwork found its new home in soft, wearable textiles.

Produced in a small factory in eastern Germany, each sock is made with care, precision and a focus on sustainable, high-quality materials.

A blend of colour, craftsmanship and a bit of playfulness — that’s the heart of this limited edition.

Meet the Makers

Tania Bisaz is a Swiss artist known for her abstract compositions, distinctive colour palettes and intuitive, joyful approach to visual storytelling. She loves bringing art into everyday life — in sketchbooks, on canvas and now on socks.

Thomas Jakobson has been designing and crafting socks for over 11 years.

In his studio in Bern, he develops knit patterns, samples and prototypes, which are then produced in a family-run factory in eastern Germany and finished by hand in Switzerland.

What connects us is a shared love for craftsmanship, colour and thoughtful design — and the desire to create something playful, wearable and made to last.
